Birds in Art

My art piece Morning Breeze has been selected for the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum’s 2011 exhibition.
Jurors Martha Hill (author and former Audubon picture editor), Amy Montague (director, Mass Audubon Visual Arts Center), and Jim Richerson (president, Lakeview Museum of Arts & Sciences), reviewed 957 entries submitted by 583 artists before heading into the final selection round.
The painting will be exhibited at the Woodson Art Museum alongside that of approximately 112 other juried artists and past Master Artists and the 2011 Master Artist, Jim Coe.
This is the second time that my work is selected for the exhibit. In 2002 Back from the Meadow, a mixed technique on paper painting, was also included in the short list for the national tour.
